A Life in a Year (Demo)

A Life in a Year is a narrative-driven adventure game that explores the emotional challenges of studying abroad. You play as Laura, a 16-year-old exchange student in a Nordic country. The game navigates themes like language barriers, cultural differences, friendship, family, and more.

This demo is the first iteration of the game, created as the final project for my design degree thesis. Thank you for playing!

Note: For the best experience, the downloadable version is strongly recommended, since Itch.io has had issues on displaying some sound effects. The web version is fine if you don't mind that.
